A Place for Everything and Everything in Its Place

I don't know about you, but I know that I feel so much better when my house is organized. A place for everything and everything in its place! I am sure that they have done studies on this, you have to have less stress from looking at an organized space verse a disorganized space. When we moved into our home in South Carolina my kitchen pantry started organized, but it has slowly gotten out of control! Well, I did what anyone would do, and I went straight to Amazon to purchase lots of organizing baskets! I will link some of them here and also on my "favorite things" page. I am an affiliate for some of them, so that means when you purchase through my link I make a small profit at no additional cost to you!

I found some great mDesign baskets in bronze, in several different sizes to store a variety of the pantry items in. I also came across Smart Design 3-tier can dispensers, which I will tell you have been amazing! I had all of our canned goods just stacked up and didn't know what we had and what we didn't have. I ended up throwing out a lot of food because things had expired. I didn't even know that it was in my pantry because it had been buried in there. With the can dispenser, you can arrange them to dispense by date if you want, so you use up the "soon to expire" first.

The mDesign baskets have a card slot on the front that I can use to put a label on, yes I have a label maker! I have to say; I love my label maker :) I think we can figure out where things go, but this can help our family members know where to put things back, so they go in the correct place. It is a great idea to group similar items; Baking items, Pasta, Staples, Condiments, and Snacks.

My pantry looks great now, but the trick will be to keep it looking like this! How do you keep your pantry looking good and getting your family to help keep it that way?
